When the Tateyama Expressway was extended in 1995, Narita Airport became 60 minutes away and Kisarazu became close to the world.
"Tokyo Bay Aqua Line" opened for traffic in 1997, making Haneda Airport accessible in 30 minutes and the capital Tokyo in 50 minutes.
In 2007 the “Boso Peninsula resort”, rich in nature, became accessible in 60 minutes using the Tateyama Expressway.The new tourist routes connecting the “Tokyo Bay resort area”, the international airports, the capital Tokyo and the “Boso Peninsula resort area” have led to an increase in tourism.

○ From the capital Tokyo it is about 50 minutes by train or highway bus and one hour by car.
○ From Haneda Airport it is about 40 minutes by highway bus and 30 minutes by car.
○ From Narita Airport it is about 1.5 hours by train and about 1 hour by car.

Umihotaru Parking Area
It is just like a luxury liner calmly floating in the middle of the sea.
The changing scenes are very charming.
The multi-purpose service areas, restaurants, various shops, etc. make this a popular site for many tourists. The Aqua-Line marathon will also be held in October, 2012.

Kamogawa Seaworld(Kamogawa Sea World)
Experience the famous Kamogawa Seaworld and its marine life, the killer whale and dolphin shows etc.


Nanbo Paradise(Nanbou Paradise)
In huge greenhouses tropical and subtropical flowers, birds and butterflies can be enjoyed.


One of the greatest Buddha statues in Japan and 1500 “Rakan" (small statues) can be seen.

Yoro-Keikoku(Yoro Ravine)
Beautiful natural scenery which offers rich changes in color according to the season.


Mother Farm(Mother Farm)
Both children and adults can enjoy contact with animals, the sheep show, the dairy cow milking experience and the collection of seasonal crops etc.


Kururi Castle (Kururi-jo)
On the former site of the Kururi Castle is a rebuilt castle tower, a museum which exhibits armor etc.and other facilities.

Tokyo German Village (Country Farm Tokyo German Villge)
This theme park is based on the rural landscape of Germany.
Seasonal events and flowers can also be enjoyed.


Tokyo-Wan Kannon(Tokyo-wan Kanno)
This 56 meter high Goddess of Mercy is built in Minami-Boso Quasi-National Park (Otsubo mountain) commanding a view of the whole of Tokyo Bay.
